Research Interests Dissertation, "The Landscapes of Memory: A History of Social Identity in the Western Serengeti, Tanzania" is based on research in oral traditions of the precolonial period. Interested in the spatial dimension of oral tradition, social identity and memory. I am currently working on publishing a collection of histories written by people from the Mara Region.

Teaching Interests Teach World history and African history courses at Goshen College.
