About the book: The book was edited by the Director General (2002-2004) of Bangladesh National Museum- Professor Dr. A. Z. M. Iftikhar-ul-Awwal in 2003. These essays were presented on a symposium that took place from 7th November to 13th November, 1989 at the Bangladesh National Museum.
