Research Interests | As a scholar of contemporary religion, my main methodological approach is interdisciplinary. I am an advocate for a combined approach of cultural anthropology, religious studies, and historical philology. As a researcher, I attempt to understand the contemporary religious traditions of India within a deep awareness of its classical past.
