Research Interests

Mr. Stephen Ellis is a historian, specializing in contemporary African
history.

Teaching Interests

Since December 2008, Stephen Ellis is working two days a week as
a professor at the VU University of Amsterdam, where he occupies a Desmond
Tutu chair of Youth, Sport and Reconciliation.
