In recent years I have worked with refugees, migrants and mobile
populations addressing the issues of sexual health, behaviours and
HIV/AIDS. I am based in Nairobi, Kenya where I am also designing and
helping to initiate a number of projects designed to address the needs of
refugees and migrants. I continue to keep myself informed and updated on
developments with African trypanosomiasis.

Previous projects:

The history of the issues of ethnicity and identity in the context of
Buganda with special reference to the Banyaruanda. A collaborative
project with the Institut fur Afrikanstik, University of Cologne,
1998-2000.

The social history of sexually transmitted diseases in Uganda; social
history of HIV/AIDS in Uganda; HIV/AIDS and Women in Uganda
