Recherche	Research on southern Africa, mostly writing on Zimbabwe and Angola. I have published numerous books and papers on Zimbabwe and, to a lesser extent, Angola. I have also begun some research on Rwanda and published a review article on the literature of the genocide and the Great Lakes conflict.
