on FARMERS SUICIDE: FACTS AND POSSIBLE POLICY INTERVENTIONS, to be
published by the YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN ACADEMY OF DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION,
Pune, Maharashtra [India] will come out by October 2006. An earlier book
is "Chandigarh Lifescape: social history of a planned city". Other recent
projects include the history of the RSS [Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh] in
Punjab, the relationship between women and land in Madhya Pradesh.
Currently engaged in researching the History of Higher Education, with the
focus on the growth of Panjab University. |
