Research Interests

My Doctoral-level dissertation (Title: 'Infiltrators, Quit India':
Undocumented Bangladeshis and 'Thin' Hegemony of Hindu Nationalism)
examines the 'Anti-Infiltration' strategy of the Hindu Right during the
decade of the 90s and its consequences for undocumented Bangladeshis in
New Delhi's slums.

Research interests: Cross-border migration in South Asia; Xenophobia;
Migration and Development; Qualitative Research methods
